The Catahoula has the spirit of the WOLF, the speed of the GREYHOUND, the strength of the MASTIFF and the assertivety of BEAUCERON. All this is piled into a loving, intelligent and loyal companion who wants nothing more than to please his master. Catahoulas are highly intelligent and energetic. They are assertive but not aggressive by nature. Catahoulas in general are very even tempered. but Catahoulas are very serious about their job if they are working dogs. They make a good family dog and interaction with the dog is a daily requirement. When a Catahoula is raised with children, the dog believes that it is his or her responsibility to look after and protect those children. Catahoulas are protective and a natural alarm dog. They will alert one to anything out of the ordinary.
All these little guys have been given their 1st series of shots, wormed, socialized, loved and ready to become a part of your family.
